On 9 September the world premiere of the revolutionary Combi-CB took place on the occasion of the Combilift Ltd's 10th anniversary in Ireland. Journalists from all round the world were able to convince themselves of the benefits of this new, compact all-wheel multidirectional forklift truck. The Combi-CB is designed for customers who have to transport palletised goods and long goods indoors and outdoors. The Combi-CB is available with LPG- Diesel- or Electric drive. It has a loading capacity of 2,500 kg to 3,000 kg with a load centre distance of 600 mm respectively 500 mm. Combilift provides mast variants with a lifting height of up to 7.5 metres. The material to be transported can be stored directly at the first storage level on the floor as the device does not have a platform. Due to its compact dimensions the Combi-CB can operate in those places where other industrial trucks can no longer be used. The Combi-CB is also suitable for the loading and unloading of containers.
The new Combi-CB went into serial production following a two-year development phase and the sale of 100 vehicles. A new production hall that is 500m² in size enables Combilift to produce the vehicle in a maximum period of 8 weeks. The production of the new model will create 20 additional jobs and achieve an increase in turnover of € 10 million.
In Germany Combilift has according to Mr Ilya Morich – Export Sales Manager – already quietly gone about marketing the Combi-CB and important reference clients could be won over such as Alumock, Sapa Group, Krannich Solar and Finkendei.
